We are constantly searching out excellent plant sources in New York, New Jersey, and the six New England states--Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. (We even scout out nurseries in Pennsylvania and Delaware when driving south to Washington, DC.) We think gardeners are the best judge of plants, and your views are important to us.

We warmly welcome your thoughts and recommendations, either to help correct book entries or to expand coverage in future editions. Please tell us about your favorite nurseries and share your experiences with special growers in the Northeast. Try to give us as much information as you can about how we can locate nurseries and growers you think we should know about. Tell us your favorite local web sites. Let us know about hidden horticultural treasures. We will happily consider your suggestions for future editions of The Adventurous Gardener.
